1930 Ford

We just got the approval to do the restoration for this 1930 Ford.

The Ford is getting the the cab, motor and tranny pulled out.  The new motor and tranny is getting test fit.  Also the cab is getting repaired.

Fabrication continues on the Ford for fitting the new engine and transmission in.  Also, Larry is done with the body work on the frame and it is getting primered and the cab set back on the frame.

Larry is working on getting the window regulators fabricated for the 1930 Ford.

Dan got all the black for the 1930 Ford painted today.

Dan is masking off the black paint on the Ford to get ready to paint the red sections of the vehicle.

Dan is done with painting the red for the 1930 Ford.

Dave is working on putting the engine and transmission together today for the Ford and Larry is working on straightening the frame.

Dave is test fitting the new engine and transmission in the chassis of the Ford.

Larry has built a custom “bridge” type bracing underneath the chassis to make sure that it does not buckle under the increase of power from the new engine.

Alex is installing the vinyl top on the 1930 Ford Delivery Truck.

The techs here at Precision Restorations have really started moving full force on building the 1930 Ford Delivery truck.

The new custom chassis is in and Larry is working on building the molds for the fiberglass body.

Mike is getting the negative fiberglass molds made for the Ford Delivery trucks.

The first positive molds are just coming out for the 1930 Ford Replicas.

The molds for the doors are almost ready and they are also working on the dash and the visor.

Larry is prepping the cab of the delivery truck to get it ready for primer, after primer we will build our mold off of it.

Mike is finalizing the door molds and have pulled out the dash and visor molds as well today.

These are the final molds for the doors on the 1930 Ford Delivery Trucks.  Larry and Mike are now ready to start turning out finished panels.

The frame work is fabricated to lift up the mold for the body of the Truck.

Larry is getting the body sanded and buffed to a mirror finish before we pour the mold for the body.

Here is the support that we are building to put the stakebed on for the 1930 Ford replica.  We are making it strong enough to not only support the bed, but also several people if they were sitting in the back for a parade.

We are working on fabricating and installing the brake lines for the Ford Stakebed replica trucks.

We are also working on getting the beds fabricated for both Replica pickups we are building.

The Ford is done, detailed and ready to deliver!

The motor and trans for the 1930 Ford has been painted and is getting assembled.  Also the body is getting set back on the chassis.

The team here is attacking the 1930 Ford, taking on body, paint, interior and mechanical all at once to get this vehicle finished up.

The fiberglass is in the works for fabricating the new doors for the 1930 Replica.

The chassis for the 1930 Ford is primed and ready for paint.

Larry is building the fence for the plug on the AB truck.  This will then be turned into a negative mold for the body.

The custom stakebed truck’s main body is in the paint booth getting painted black today.

We are getting the bed and body mocked up for the truck and finalizing the mechanical systems.

Tobin has installed the fuel line and pump for the Ford and he is now working on moving the front shock mounts as they were rubbing on the fenders.

The rear fenders are getting lowered on the Ford to get ready to put the bed on and the red for the cab has been painted.

The windshield frame, lights and cowl trim are installed for the Stakebed pickup.

Tobin is getting the hood fit on the Ford.

Justin is installing all the gauges and wiring for the Ford.

The door panels, gauges, seat and stakebed sides are all installed.

The Ford is really moving along and is almost done.
