Dave is starting the complete mechanical restoration of this 1964 Lincoln. Once the mechanical is done the client plans to continue on with the rest of the vehicle.
Dave continues to work on the mechanical restoration for this 1964 Lincoln. Currently he is working on the brake system and the valve cover gaskets. We did find some sludge in the heads when we pulled the valve covers to replace the gaskets.
Our client stopped into the shop today and decided to move forward with rebuilding the engine, due to some sludge buildup that we found in the heads. Dave has started the disassembly process.
The rebuilt and freshly painted engine just came back in for this classic car restoration.
Dave is working on getting the Lincoln motor together to get back into the Lincoln.
The engine is coming together for the 1964 Lincoln.
Dave is installing the rebuilt engine in the Lincoln today.
